CARPHA’s mission is to provide strategic direction, in analyzing, defining and responding to public health priorities of Member States, in order to prevent disease, promote health and to respond to public health emergencies.
Leads seismological monitoring, data analysis, and network operations for earthquake and volcanic surveillance, coordinates with regional risk reduction stakeholders, and advances research and data acquisition at the Seismic Research Centre.
