The Guyana Marketing Corporation invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the position of Marketing Assistant at the Guyana Shop Kiosk, located in the Departure Area of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
The incumbent will be responsible for executing all administrative and technical functions with the position as it relates to the specific projects being executed by the department.
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of works, also, lifting and moving of equipment.
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Shift Control Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring and recording system conditions and effecting all switching operations.
Under the general direction of the Chief Accountant, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing measures to efficiently and accurately prepare and submit monthly financial statements.
The Marketing Officer heads the marketing department with a staff of 5 persons, with the responsibility to manage the department to promote trade and export of rice.
