Under the general supervision of the Assistant Shift Control Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring and recording system conditions and effecting all switching operations.
The incumbent manages billing operations, meter reading, account maintenance, and revenue collection, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, policy compliance, and achievement of performance targets through strategic planning and supervision.
Responsible for the effective management of the Direct Current/Electronics, Electrical Maintenance, Protection Programming, Protection Instrumentation and Calibration Sections.
The incumbent manages daily operations, maintenance schedules, staff performance, safety compliance, and resource planning within the Specialized Equipment and Maintenance Department to ensure efficient and reliable power system operations.
The incumbent oversees Major Projects Department performance, supervises staff, enforces safety and compliance, conducts site visits and meetings, mitigates risks, and ensures continuous improvement through training and monitoring.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are placed on the data base, and all the Company’s tools, line hardware, equipment and other materials department are accounted for, and kept in a safe place.
