Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, quality control, shipments, and maintenance, ensuring safety, proper storage, and adherence to inventory and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

15%

  • Plan the goods to be received in the warehouse and prepare the space, pallets and all other tools and equipment necessary for this purpose and receive all goods by checking quantities, qualities, specifications, descriptions, applicants against the purchasing, import or donation documents.

  • Prepare all warehouse records including ledgers, inventory sheets, stock sheets and share weekly, monthly and annual inventory records with operations department, finance department and other stakeholders.

  • Perform monthly and weekly warehouse inventory. Verify quantity, quality and documentation of inventories.

  • Plan shipments based on approved distribution plans. Collaborate with Fleet Department Supply to ensure availability of transportation services.
  • On-time shipments based on demand

  • Manage the quality control of warehouse stock, ensuring the application of the "First Expiry First Out" principle. Ensure that stock is handled, packed and stored in accordance with their detailed requirements, which may include requirements for temperature, humidity and direct sunlight control.

  • Ensure that the warehouse is always maintained, clean, dry, safe, strong and secure. Ensure that all safety equipment is available and regularly maintained.

  • Stock should be stacked properly at the recommended height to maximize space, but not too high to prevent falls. Ensure storage tools are available and in good condition.

  • Ensure that the warehouse is maintained and controlled against rodents, termites. Fumigation should be carried out if necessary.

 

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Hands-on experience with asset management systems
  • Qualification diploma in warehousing or administration, or related or similar qualifications
  • Computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets
  • At least 2 years of experience in asset management and warehousing
  • Document management skills
