The position reports to the Vice President, Trust Services and provides transactional and administrative support to the Trust Services team in the management of High Net-Worth Clients.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing, reviewing and monitoring diverse transactions which may include security trading, multi-currency exchanges and the acquisition and disposal of real or other assets
  • Reconciling cash and fund positions
  • Managing and prioritising daily workload in order to ensure all transactions are completed within agreed deadlines
  • Gaining customer confidence through consistent, accurate and timely service delivery and good negotiation and customer communication
  • Ensuring that transactions are compliant with Trust deeds, agency agreements and internal policies and procedures
  • Refining processes and suggest new work practices
  • Assisting with resolving problems and issues
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filed promptly and correctly
  • Drafting Trust and Company documents for review
  • Ensuring records of system are kept up-to-date including, but not limited to, NAV and iManage
  • Attending client meetings as requested and taking file notes of the same
  • Assisting with Trust account opening and closing process
  • Assisting with clearance of Alessa and REVCOMPs
  • Ensuring adherence to GMS and local and international statutory requirements
  • Maintaining working knowledge of FATCA, CRS and Economic Substance requirements
  • Any related duties as assigned by management

 

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • University degree and three years’ experience in banking, investments, trust or a comparable business environment
  • General understanding of Trust and Banking principles and procedures would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to provide excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Commitment to pursue STEP qualification
