The Talent Development Supervisor supports career and professional growth initiatives, manages development programs, performance reviews, and the LMS, and aligns talent strategies with HR and organizational goals.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Talent Development Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the talent development initiatives at Doctors Hospital. This position assists in designing, implementing, and managing career and professional development programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth. The incumbent will support the administration of the performance review program, educational assistance program, Learning Management System (LMS), development plans, learning paths, career planning, succession planning, instructional design and course facilitation. The Talent Development Supervisor will work closely with the Talent Development Manager to ensure that talent development strategies align with HR strategic initiatives and overall organizational goals.


 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Talent Development Strategy

  • Assist in the development and implementation of talent development strategies that support the organization’s goals and objectives.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Assist in providing tools and training for managers and employees to conduct effective evaluations.
  • Help managers in setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot Cornerstone issues.

Educational Assistance:

  • Coordinates and supervises the organization’s educational assistance and bond program.

Learning Management System (LMS):

  • Assist in managing and optimizing the LMS for effective delivery and tracking of training programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of LMS strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot LMS issues.

Development Plans and Learning Paths:

  • Assist in creating and managing individualized development plans and learning paths for employees.
  • Identify skill gaps and support the design of targeted training programs to address them.
  • Ensure that formal updates related to development plan as obtained and logged as required.

Career and Succession Planning:

  • Support the development, implementation and execution of career planning and succession planningprograms.
  • Assist in identifying and preparing future leaders within the organization.

Instructional Design and Course Facilitation:

  • Assist in designing and delivering engaging and effective training programs and courses.
  • Utilize various instructional design methodologies to support impactful learning experiences.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support for talent development initiatives and projects.
  • Perform follow-up activities to obtain outstanding items/information related to talent development initiatives and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or a related role.
  • Experience with LMS management and instructional design principles.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
