The role involves managing financial records, processing transactions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, addressing guest inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality, while adhering to company policies and providing excellent service.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to policies.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial data.
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
  • Respond to or resolve questions, issues, or disputes from Marriott's Shared Service Center/guests.
  • Process customer tax exemptions following regulations.
  • Review, reconcile, and process credit card vouchers and advance deposits.
  • Monitor and audit gift certificate and incentive award redemption activity.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and maintain professional appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Address guests' service needs and assist other employees for coverage and service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review documents accurately.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
