The Senior Portfolio Manager oversees client portfolios, develops investment offerings, supports new business, and manages equity portfolios and global asset allocations, reporting to the Head of Wealth Management.

 

Senior Portfolio Manager

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios and relationships directly. Assist in the development of the local investment offering and development of new business. This position reports to the Head of Wealth Management and would suit an individual who has a solid background in and has proven expertise in managing equity portfolios and global asset allocation mandates.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a book of high-net-worth and institutional clients by understanding their financial needs, their risk tolerance, and investment time horizon and by creating an appropriate investment policy statement.
  • Structuring, optimising and managing client portfolios by matching clients’ investment mandates to the appropriate investment offering consistent with Group investment policy.
  • Implementing asset allocation as decided by the Group Investment Committee.
  • Constructing portfolios by selecting stocks, bonds, and/or third-party funds based on the Group’s recommended lists.
  • Creating and delivering proposals and presentations for clients or potential clients.
  • Participating in and contributing to the Group’s investment process by researching and providing coverage on a MSCI sector.
  • Assisting in the department’s strategy planning and development of the local investment offering.
  • Provide technical, analytical and administrative expertise to the department.

The Asset Management team helps our clients to grow, manage and preserve their wealth through a selection of investment products, management services and brokerage options. We work with clients to develop investment strategies and construct tailored portfolios to meet their investment objectives, risk attitude and liquidly requirements. Our clients include individuals, charities, pension plans, trusts, institutions and insurance entities.

 

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • University degree plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • A professional designation in the financial industry. CFA designation preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of global equities, debt markets, and third party funds.
  • Advanced user of Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel.
  • Superior organizational, oral and written communication skills.
