Process guest check-ins, manage reservations, handle payments, assist guests, support staff training, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a professional, customer-focused environment.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Complete cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Review and document shift logs/daily memo books.
  • Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest requests or issues.
  • Process guest check-ins, verify identity, request payment, and assign rooms.
  • Sell accommodations to walk-in guests based on availability.
  • Ensure rates match market codes and document any exceptions.
  • Scan and charge outlet checks (e.g., Health Club, Retail Shop) to rooms.
  • Assist in training, evaluating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Open Door Policy.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training.
  • Follow company policies; maintain a professional appearance and protect assets.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Communicate professionally in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and team collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift/move objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
