Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to work in Andros Island, Bahamas on the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) project.

 

Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor will perform functions at AUTEC in support of warehouse management, demonstrate proficiency with warehouse management software, have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, knowledge of inventory control, and the ability to understand and navigate warehouse processes. Ability to analyze data and generate reports Time Management skills Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members on the AUTEC project. This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Oversees the efficient operation of retail store warehouse, managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of food products.
  • Supervising a team, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring proper product handling, and complying with food safety regulations.
  • Optimizing space utilization and productivity to meet customer demand.
  • Key responsibilities include receiving deliveries, managing stock rotation, coordinating outbound shipments.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment within the warehouse.
  • Performs related duties as required.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Five (5) year’s experience managing a warehouse operation in the grocery retail industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field required. Eight (8) years of related job experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory control systems and best practices.
  • Understanding of WMS software and ability to utilize its features.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and handling procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with management.
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
  • Valid U.S. passport will be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift operation experience, preferred.
