Respiratory Therapist

• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory
• Certification in Respiratory Therapy
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum of two years clinical experience required.
• Licensed with the Health Professions Council
• Assess all new patients, assigns and prepares a treatment plan based on prescription of referring Physician and specific individual needs.
• Reassess patient periodically, modifying treatment plan accordingly. Prepares progress and discharge reports.
• Liaisons with referring Physicians and attends ward rounds and patient/family meetings where appropriate.
• Conducts patient/family education sessions.
• Documents all relevant information.
• Responsible for providing Respiratory service on an In-patient and outpatient basis.
• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
