The Quality Assurance Analyst will review system development phases, assist with test data preparation, analyze error logs and performance statistics, and conduct research on system performance.

 

JOB PURPOSE

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be required to participate in the Quality Assurance review of analysis, design, development and implementation phases of computer systems. He/she will assist clients/users in preparing test data and procedures for Systems Acceptance Testing; assist with the periodic review and analysis of customers’ systems error logs and performance statistics as well as the research and data collection relating to systems performance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • 1-2 years experience in systems development, design and implementation.
  • Systems analysis and design techniques.
  • Training in software application/quality assurance testing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and at least one general-purpose programming language
  • Working knowledge of security testing
