Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT networks, hardware, and software while providing technical support, security implementation, and process improvements to ensure efficient system operations.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, workstations, and server systems.
  • Support hardware/software, user accounts, and computer/telephone rooms.
  • Train users on system use and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and the internet.
  • Respond to program error messages and provide network communications support.
  • Refer major technical issues to vendors or technicians.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements.
  • Assess and resolve computing needs and system requirements.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
  • Plan and coordinate IT-related installations, moves, changes, and enhancements.
  • Implement and manage network security measures.
  • Provide end-user support for all applications.
  • Manage and allocate disk space across the network.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of technological devices.
  • Ensure backup tapes are stored securely.
  • Follow company policies, report incidents, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist guests and support team members.
  • Communicate professionally and answer calls appropriately.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for employee concerns.
  • Promote efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; navigate stairs and ramps.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
