As a Clerk within the Central Operations department you will be responsible for providing optimal support services to our customers.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day activities to ensure a prompt and efficient service delivery to customers and ensuring the accurate processing of transactions and instructions
  • Adhering to applicable processes, procedures and information security policies in a timely manner to meet service level agreements
  • Supporting product delivery, decision-making and making recommendations to support the efficiency of the Central Operations department
  • Collaborating with the leadership team, to advise of successes and areas for improvement
  • Taking responsibility for job responsibilities, performing self-evaluations and providing feedback on own performance.

Butterfield’s Central Operations team supports millions of financial transactions globally across all of our Banking locations. Our customers range from personal bank account holders to corporate and wealth clients. Banking Operations is a fast moving environment, where innovation is at the heart of the team’s everyday responsibilities to provide services that keep Butterfield at the forefront of financial services.

 

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • High school graduate, with a minimum of four CXC/GCSE passes preferred
  • A minimum typing speed of 30wpm with high degree of accuracy
  • The ability to gather relevant information to resolve minor issues or problems and handle high volumes with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
