The role involves promoting brand awareness, managing sales tours, verifying eligibility, supporting office tasks, developing staff, maintaining professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to company standards and policies.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Communicate with potential owners to set up preview package sales/tours.
  • Encourage guests to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours.
  • Explain requirements for attending sales presentations to potential owners.
  • Verify eligibility for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling.
  • Provide complimentary gifts (e.g., rewards points, show tickets) to guests.
  • Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, emails, typing, faxing).
  • Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.

Employee Development & Professionalism:

  • Assist management in training, evaluating, and motivating employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Follow all company policies and ensure professional appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy/security of guests and coworkers.

Guest & Team Interaction:

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, addressing service needs and showing appreciation.
  • Speak clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately.
  • Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical & Additional Requirements:

  • Move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
