The incumbent conducts operational, compliance, and financial audits to assess internal controls, efficiency, and effectiveness, recommending improvements under direct supervision.

 

Job Purpose:

The incumbent has the responsibility to conduct operational, compliance and financial audits of the UDC and its subsidiaries under direct supervision. These audits will examine the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems and procedures, and recommend corrective actions to improve operations and enhance internal controls. 

 

 

Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience

  • A Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working on audit or accounting assignments either with a public accounting firm or large public or private sector organization
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles/standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
