The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in an industrial setting and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and immunizations for employees.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary.
  • Monitor and manage employee illnesses and injuries, including referral to appropriate medical specialists as needed.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs, including ergonomics assessments, injury prevention, and health promotion initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on health and safety topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employees.
  • Stay current with industry developments and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Collaborate with other health and safety professionals, such as occupational health physicians and safety engineers, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

 

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Nursing or similar credentials.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an industrial or occupational health setting.

 

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Strong background in emergency and first aid care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective health and safety training sessions.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.
  • Experience with health and wellness program development and management.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

 

Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work outside of normal working hours and be willing to travel to other regions.
