Job Overview
This position requires experience teaching Computer Science in Years 7-9 and in the IGCSE, IB Diploma (Standard/Higher Levels) and/or A Level programmes. As Department Head, this position requires that the successful candidate has leadership experience. As a school committed to STEAM, the successful candidate will be expected to develop the Robotics programme across Upper Primary to Year 13.
All applicants should hold strong academic qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject, formal teacher training certification (BEd, MEd, PGCE/QTS) as well as proven success and a minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching the subject(s). Prospective teachers should also be able to integrate technology in the classroom and must either have, or meet the qualifications to obtain, a current Bermuda Teachers’ License.
