Job overview
The Head of Secondary will be a key member of the School Leadership team at BHS and report directly to the Head of School. The key function of this position is the overall leadership and management of the Secondary programme from Year 7 to Year 11. The successful applicant will create a safe and nurturing learning environment; manage the development of curriculum; set and monitor performance goals for teachers and students; liaise directly with the Head of Primary to ensure appropriate vertical alignment of the curricula between departments; and assist in leading the school through its continuing journey of self-evaluation and accreditation through organizations such as the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
