CORE FUNCTIONS
Accounting & Financial Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of financial figures, postings, and documents
- Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents per policies
- Record, store, and analyze computerized financial data
- Classify, code, and summarize financial information using journals, ledgers, or software
- Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
- Generate, review, and reconcile bills, invoices, and account statements
- Resolve past-due accounts and vendor invoices
- Consolidate daily cash deposits from all cash-handling staff
- Track, document, and address cash variances
- Manage cashier banks and contracts
Compliance & Professional Standards:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and guest information
- Ensure professional appearance and conduct
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Answer phones with proper etiquette
Team & Physical Requirements:
- Build positive working relationships and support team goals
- Lift/carry up to 10 pounds
- Perform additional duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
