Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and systems, perform safety checks, manage inventory, assist in staff training, ensure adherence to safety policies, and respond to guest repair requests.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves.
  • Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
  • Operate power lift and other equipment as needed.
  • Complete the life safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator tests.
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
  • Assist in developing disaster response protocols.
  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees.
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and uphold professional appearance.
  • Welcome and assist guests according to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
