Engineering Supervisor | Landscaping

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
• Operate power lift equipment.
• Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster response protocols.
• Respond to guest repair requests.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees.
• Follow safety policies and report maintenance issues, hazards, or accidents.
• Ensure uniform and appearance meet professional standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Greet guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
• Communicate professionally and inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Move up and down stairs and service ramps as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None
