The incumbent installs, maintains, and inspects equipment, ensures safety compliance, supports team management, assists guests, and performs physical tasks to enhance efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Calibrate all controls, gauges, and meters.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
  • Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
  • Operate power lift.
  • Complete the life safety checklist, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
  • Assist in developing disaster response protocols.
  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
  • Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Support the team in reaching common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to employees’ concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Identify and implement new ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
  • Speak clearly and professionally with others.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Move up and down stairs and service ramps.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
