Ensure sponsorship activities align with national and technical standards, achieve full child participation, maintain compliance in communications, monitor progress, train communities, and meet targets for vulnerable children and impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Technique

  • Ensure the conduct of sponsorship activities, in its area of ??intervention, in compliance with the standards defined by the national office
  • Ensure the conduct of activities in compliance with the technical standards defined by the partnership, namely: LEAP (DIP, ITT), project models, DPA, program approaches
  • An annual planning meeting, weekly and quarterly meetings are conducted (report in support) to assess the integration of activities, the state of progress and decision-making where appropriate.
  • 100% of sponsored children report having participated in at least 3 program activities.
  • 100% of RCs are monitored and benefit from activities contributing to their access to the 10 minimum standards defined.
  • Communications between children and sponsors, between Support Offices and the community, Support Office and National Offices are conducted in compliance with the National Office's standards in terms of time (the time recommended by the BN) and standards (for SL, IL, GN, APR, Photographs, Videos etc.) 
  • The data generated by the system in the SSUI system relating to sponsorship 2'0 are analyzed monthly and the deviations reported as actions in the monthly plan of the facilitator.
  • Community members are trained in sponsorship and participate in the conduct of 90% of activities (report in support)
  • Guaranteed databases of models, methodologies and strategic actions showing the contribution of child protection
  • A monthly plan, taking into account the integration of activities, is developed, executed and archived.
  • The activities planned in the ITT are executed on time in compliance with the standards, completed 100% and the results recorded in the Dashboard.
  • 100% of the most vulnerable (as defined by World Vision), are identified, updated as needed after DME approval, and access at least two elements of the MVC package.
  • Quarterly targets, reach a minimum of 95% and produce an impact at the community level, observed in the annual trend assessment (LQAS).

Managerial

  • Establish an effective coordination, management and supervision system leading to the existence of strong, effective and efficient community networks.
  • Monitor the proper use, healthy and transparent management of the resources made available to it and of volunteers according to the standards and principles of the institution.
  • Decision making in compliance with organizational standards.
  • 100% of the assets made available to volunteers are registered and managed in accordance with the asset management policy and in compliance with security standards.
  • All volunteers have a work plan, performance indicators evaluated regularly, and administrative decisions taken (if necessary) with the support of the GAC.
  • 100% of youth volunteers and GAC members are trained on World Vision's community volunteering policy.

Networking and Advocacy

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, other NGOs, young people, GACs, women's groups (mothers' clubs, mother leaders, etc.) to ensure better use of resources and the achievement of child well-being indicators and community ownership                     
  • % reduction in physical violence against children in the PZ intervention area.
  • % of access to basic services secondary to the implementation of government public policy.
  • # of relevant partnerships established and MOUs signed.
  • A functional GAC exists within the PZ, manages a monitoring system (with feedback mechanism, support for the most vulnerable, infrastructure management) of activities.
  • # of young volunteers by sector of activity, are identified, trained and actively participate in the conduct of activities at all levels.
  • The community is organized into mothers' clubs, saving groups, mother leaders, neighborhood meetings for the regular conduct of activities.
  • # of MOU signs with school principals for the conduct of activities.
  • # of MOU signed with local service providers for the conduct of activities.
  • # of policy whose implementation is ensured within the community and from which children benefit.
  • # of functional volunteer networks participating in sponsorship activities ensuring the sustainability of the actions. 
  • # of schools participating in positive discipline activities and whose teachers apply alternative methods (supported by evaluation report)
  • # of home visits in which positive discipline methods are promoted.
  • # of religious leaders, traditional leaders trained and mobilized for the promotion of social services.

Monitoring evaluation reporting

  • Lead the process of planning, reporting and evaluating activities conducted at the field level.
  • -# of monitoring and supervision visits conducted (supporting report) to ensure that the results of the activities stated in the reports are properly verified, and that they agree with the field visit reports and other supporting documents.
  • A community summit is conducted annually and the lessons learned inform the post-summit action plan (report in support) 
  • An annual report, a semi-annual report and monthly reports are submitted with photos, success story, two innovations respecting the standards defined by the partnership.
  • A quarterly activity monitoring meeting is conducted with the GAC, corrective activities identified and implemented, all supported by a report
  • The information needed to prepare for the DIP and ITT is provided

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional  experience
  • Experience working in an isolated environment and ability to live in a community; 7
  • Experience in conflict management;

 

Required Education

  • University level in social sciences, project management, development studies or any other studies in a related field (Master's degree recommended / Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field). Good organizational, management and planning skills; respects deadlines and is able to manage a large workload; 
  • Excellent capacity and knowledge in the management and development of staff capacities. 
  • Ability to work in a team and to act as a coach and mentor for his team members. 
  • Excellent communication skills as well as to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing budgets. 
  • Experience in management Participate in devotional and chapel services.
  • Respect the Child Protection, Safeguarding and all other World Vision Policies and Procedures

 

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in Management, Bachelor's degree in Community Development Sciences, Bachelor's degree in Social and/or Human Sciences or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Information Systems Management
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Be able to clearly express ideas orally or in writing while respecting grammatical rules.
  • Good experience in using statistical software, SPSS is preferable.

 

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement

  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 70% of the time.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Enjoy good physical and mental health.

 

Language Requirements

  • Very well versed in English and Spanish.
  • Mastery of French (oral and written).
