Reporting to the Head of Investor Services, this role is responsible for providing administrative support to the brokerage team with training provided to assist the broker.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all transactions are settled in a timely fashion
  • Executing cash management duties for client accounts including wiring funds, transferring funds internally and requesting drafts from the Operations team when required
  • Liaising and problem solving with related departments
  • Maintaining all client files and other records ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and Qualified Intermediary (“QI”) requirements
  • Opening new client accounts
  • Servicing client enquiries where appropriate
  • Providing back-up support for Bermuda Stock Exchange activities
  • Participating in brokerage area meetings
  • Any other duties required for the department to function efficiently

 

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • A university degree or relevant experience.
  • Ability to deliver superior service and deal with clientele in a mature, professional manner
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on initiatives as a team member in a demanding environment
