As a delivery driver, you will work as a member of a team to deliver products to customers. Our ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team-player and has experience making deliveries. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading & unloading truck.
  • Travel to different parishes to deliver products (Long-distance driving)
  • Ensure vehicle documents are up-to-date
  • Ensure goods/products are delivered on time
  • Plan routes effeciently & have good navigational skills
  • Report any accidents or incidents 
  • Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving. Conduct basic vehicle maintenance like checking fluid levels and tire pressure each day before going on the road.

Requirements

  • Valid Jamaican driver's license (open licence or a weight of 7500kg)
  • Must be at least 27 years old or older
  • Must have at least 2 years of prior and verifiable driving experience
  • At least a high school Diploma
  • Knowledge of local routes & traffic patterns
  • Must be willing to learn or take instructions
  • Basic mechanical knowledge 
  • Strong knowledge of the Road Traffic Act of Jamaica 
  • Good communication & inperpersonal skills
