The incumbent will have the responsibility for organizing, implementing, controlling and maintaining the patient information system for the provision of optimum patient care.

The Clinical Psychologist develops and implements Child & Adolescent Mental Health programs, provides psychotherapy, crisis consultation, training, and outreach, and supports employees and PLHIV through counseling and therapeutic interventions.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for supervising the activities of Public Health Inspectors engaged in the promotion and maintenance of standards of sanitation and Public Health and the control of communicable diseases in health districts

The incumbent oversees mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial programs, ensures service integration, supervises staff, monitors care quality, analyzes data, and provides technical input for planning and policy implementation.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to perform a variety of chair-side duties, office procedures and infection control procedures.

The incumbent will assist with the administering a range of Human Resource activities and procedures consistent with the Human Resource Policies, Regulations and the Strategic Objectives of the HRM & D Unit.

The incumbent transports patients and designated persons, maintains vehicle safety and records, reports defects, complies with traffic regulations, and assists with patient movement and deliveries.

The Psychiatrist plans, coordinates, and evaluates mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial services to enhance care delivery in line with government policies and regulations.
