The incumbent is responsible providing custodian, ancillary/customer support services to include cleaning and maintenance of the working environment and dispatching and retrieving mails/ correspondence.

Under the direction of the Manager, Research & Information the Senior Library Assistant provides paraprofessional support in the organization and dissemination of library resources and services to satisfy the information needs of users.

Under the direction of the Bindery Supervisor the incumbent is responsible for the repair, binding and conservation of books, periodicals, and pamphlets.

Under the direction of the National Librarian, the Executive Secretary provides secretarial and administrative support to the office of the National Librarian to ensure the smooth operation of the Executive Office.
