The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial service to ensure that the office is operated in a most effective and efficient manner, by controlling and monitoring all documents, files and communication.

Reporting to the Permanent Secretary, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial service, and managing the routine functions of the office.

The incumbent conducts internal audits, examines financial and operational records for compliance, assesses internal controls, and recommends corrective measures for the Ministry, Local Authorities, and Agencies.

The Structural Engineer supervises infrastructure projects, ensures quality standards, prepares designs, assesses technical standards, conducts site visits, reviews plans, and assists in project proposal development.
