The incumbent ensures the effective and efficient management of the project accounts, whether funded through the Government of Jamaica, local or international donor agencies; in the fulfilment of its corporate objectives.

The incumbent leads project budgeting, monitors expenditure, ensures FAA Act compliance, prepares financial reports/statements, manages audits, and collaborates with stakeholders to align funding, reporting, and strategic project goals.

The Payments Officer prepares and posts payment vouchers, certifies vouchers prepared by others, and manages processes related to the 3% Withholding Tax and similar financial arrangements.

The incumbent ensures optimal operation of financial systems, provides user support and training, maintains compliance, troubleshoots issues, analyzes financial data, and collaborates on upgrades and integration for improved efficiency.

The incumbent supports enterprise risk management by identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks, maintaining risk registers, evaluating response strategies, promoting risk awareness, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The Senior Accountant leads month-end closings, ensures US GAAP compliance, supports budgeting and forecasting, manages audits, improves reporting efficiency, strengthens internal controls, and drives financial process enhancements.
