Under the direction of Senior Investigator, the incumbent conducts investigation of new applicants to determine their suitability to hold a firearm. Investigating complaints regarding the breach of any term or condition of the firearm authorisation.

Responsible for managing the applications and certification process in accordance with the law and the Authority’s policies and procedures.

The incumbent advises the Firearm Licensing Authority on data protection and privacy compliance, oversees regulatory obligations and impact assessments, and supports the implementation of privacy programs through expert legal and technical guidance.
