The incumbent oversees Microbiology quality assurance, supervises technical functions, ensures policy compliance, monitors improvements, prepares reports, liaises with Pathology, and supports infection control initiatives.

The incumbent assists in diagnostic procedures, provides peri-procedural care, manages sedated patients, monitors medication use, oversees inventory, and delivers patient education in Diagnostic Imaging.

Under the direction and leadership of the Clinical Manager, the Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) will engage and support clients/patients and their families in the community, including clients’ homes.

The incumbent interprets medication orders, ensures compliance with policies, dispenses narcotics, oversees technical staff, prepares IV products, provides drug information, clinical services, and mentors pharmacy staff.

The Post Holder will actively participate in Stroke quality improvement and accreditation activities, working with the Stroke Director to monitor the care of patients within the Stroke Unit and throughout the Organization.

Oversees Hematology and Blood Transfusion Services, ensures quality assurance, advises on transfusions, plans resources, introduces methodologies, conducts research, liaises with stakeholders, and provides expert guidance on policies.

Provides anesthesia and ICU care, ensures patient safety during procedures, manages pain relief, monitors recovery, and diagnoses and treats patients in surgical and intensive care settings.

Evaluates medication orders, dispenses narcotics, oversees staff, ensures compliance with IV room protocols, provides drug information and clinical services, mentors trainees, and supports other pharmacies as needed.
